Veterans Caucus Memorial Day Ruck in Grand Rapids

On Saturday, May 23 at 10:00 AM, the KCDP Veterans Caucus is hosting Carry Their Name — a silent ruck at Blandford Nature Center to honor fallen veterans before Memorial Day.
Here’s how it works: we provide rocks and paint pens. You write the name of a fallen veteran — someone you knew, someone you looked up, someone who deserved to come home. Then we walk the 0.7-mile Blandford Loop together, in silence, and build a shared cairn at the end. A brief closing gives anyone who wants to speak a name aloud the chance to do that.
No registration required. Rucking with weight is optional. The trail is accessible and the walk is short. What you bring is up to you.
