Social Justice Begins With Me – For Kids

Parents, caregivers, and children are invited to our kick-off event where we’ll introduce this year’s Social Justice Begins With ME books and themes. Participants can register for the monthly events, pick up free copies of this year’s books, and enjoy a special performance by singer and songwriter Joe Reilly.
Social Justice Begins with ME is designed for children ages 4-11 and explores social justice topics that impact their daily lives through children’s literature.
This program is a partnership between the Grand Rapids Public Library and the School of Social Work at Grand Valley State University.
