Rockford Start of Summer Parade

NE Kent Dems will participate in Rockford’s Start of Summer Parade again this year, and we invite you to join us.
The parade will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 11:00 am in downtown Rockford. This is a children’s parade, so no paper literature during the parade – only candy and kid-friendly things. You’ll need someone to drop you off at the staging area by 10:30 a.m.
We will walk along-side a large decorated pick-up truck towing an additional trailer. T-shirts, flags, signs, banners, and candy are welcome. We’ll need lots of candy.
