Resistance Summit

Join a coalition of Michigan organizations and leaders who are fighting back to save our democracy and protect our families. Our first Resistance Summit in February had more than 2000 people register to take part. Many joined local organizations, and those groups have subsequently organized 150 protests, rallies, town halls, and more.
We’re going to lay out a strategy to take on Trump & Musk, and provide top-notch training for organizers and activists. We will also provide a free tool you can use to organize your friends and neighbors via text messaging.
Training topics include:
– Getting the media to cover your event;
– Winning messages to use in the press;
– Mobilizing your own friends & family through text message organizing;
– 1:1 relationship building organizing;
– Telling your personal story for power;
– Tactics to resist authoritarianism;
– Building the foundation of a strong local organization;
– Understanding the “Dictator’s Playbookâ.
