NO KINGS PROTEST

Why a NO KINGS PROTEST? People in our country have opposing points of view on almost every topic, which is great — sharing of differing views is a very good thing. But one thing Americans should all agree on is that we have No Kings.We have laws elected officials pass through both the House and Senate, hopefully laws representing the wishes of their constituents.These laws enacted by Congress, a president can not override or ignore those laws by issuing Executive Orders, or starting a war. Full stop. This protest is a day earlier than the June 14th NO KINGS in being held nationwide in opposition to the events held on the WH lawn.In celebration of what you may ask?! Some tried to say it was for the 250th bday of the United Stares, but that’s on the 4th of July, 2026. What is Trump really celebrating? His birthday is June 14th! Nothing says happy b-day Mr.80-year old, like a good ol’ cage fight. LOCATION: Veterans Park at the corner of Oak & Main. This event will be a NO KINGS protest. Bring along your signs, or you can borrow one from the organizers. If you have an inflatable costume, we would love to have you wear it! We have weekly Cedar Springs protests… — primarily on Main Street — primarily on Saturday afternoons But we ARE mixing it up a bit this summer, so check back to this calendar for dates times, and locations.
