Our new Speaker Series is back for it’s 2nd edition: Banned Books!
DO SOMETHING NOW… Ask Me How is an ACTION-oriented speakers’ series sponsored by Kent Dems with the goal of informing and enlisting the aid of attendees who are concerned about our country and asking what they can do NOW to help pull extremes back toward the center.
Attendees will leave knowing 3-5 things they can do to help NOW!
The April 16 session is entitled, “Book Challenges in Public Libraries – What To Do” presented by Lance Werner, Executive Director, Kent District Libraries. Mr. Werner will share background on the topic and present a call to action and explain what people can do for positive impact.
