JOIN THE KENT COUNTY DEMOCRATIC PARTY
The Kent County Democratic Party (KCDP) is the local unit of the Michigan Democratic Party (MDP) serving Kent County. The Michigan Democratic Party is a membership organization formed to implement these founding principles:
- The Principle of the People – Giving service to the needs and aspirations of all people.
- The Principle of Democracy – Working for equal opportunity for access and full participation of all in all political and governmental processes.
Here in Kent County, the KCDP focuses on empowering our members to have an impact on local school boards, library boards, township, city, and county boards, and the elected representatives serving residents of Kent County at the state and national level. The KCDP also serves as the connection between elected officials our members!
The Kent Dems also host a variety of social events for our guests and members to get to know each other, and we participate in community sponsored events such as parades and neighborhood festivals to engage with everyone in the county.
