The Social Hour will be hosted by Khristian Silvis\, candidate for MI House\, Dist. 84! At the meeting we will hear legislative updates from MI Senate Majority Leader Winnie Brinks and County Commissioner Carol Hennessey – this is a great opportunity to learn what the Dems are doing! \nOur meetings are open to all where we discuss the business of the party\, and organize our community to move Kent County Forward.

James has been nominated for many awards and won both the 2025 Pulitzer Prize for Fiction and the 2024 National Book Award for Fiction.
